A brand new PhD program is launched at the Cologne Graduate School in Management, Economics and Social Sciences (CGS) starting from October 1, 2008. Scholarship is available for business students and economics students or to students from related areas, with a master of science degree.

The interested students, once accepted to the doctoral program, either with scholarship or without it, will benefit from the strong tradition of the faculty and its orientation on the management, business, economics and social sciences.

The admitted students will start their path October 2008. Throughout the first year, the students with a Master’s degree will follow subjects on multidisciplinary methods and theories and related lessons. On the following last two years, students are responsible to execute a research and verbalize it in a work which will act as their dissertation final work. Students are also offered the opportunity to spend half a year abroad (similar to Erasmus programs where the students can study at a partner university).

The language of the program is English and students who will be awarded a scholarship will receive a 1,200 euros per months for a maximum of three years
