Financial Times has issued again its annual Global MBA ranking in its Business Education section. There has been quite an interesting movement in the world of the business schools in 2008 according to the 2008 business ranking. It comes with no surprise that Wharton – University of Pennsylvania remains in the top for years now.
Indeed, the top 4 have not really changed, as the first to be followed by Columbia Business School, Stanford University and Harvard Business School. And by the way, Stanford University GSB still is the proud winner of the highest annual salary of its alumni. The graduates of the GSB MBA programs earn an average of $ 175,766.
There is not too much change in the top 20 in the world of the business education, comparing to last year. However, to be noted that the European business education area has got stronger. Indeed, Insead advanced on position, IW Business School 3 positions to take the place of the 8th best MBA school. Just to stay at Europe’s best business school, Esade gained 3 positions (21st) and HEC and Manchester kept their positions in the MBA ranking 2008.
