“Education without borders” is an international student event that will take place in Dubai from 29th to 31st March of 2009. Its aim is to create a dialogue between students and several experts from all over the world, in order to find solutions for the challenges that the world has to face and then put them into action.

It is a rare occasion to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and to discuss with them about problems affecting the world today. All the speakers are well known personalities as Professor Muhammad Yunus , Rita Levi Montalcini,  Nicholas Negroponte and many others. In order to be selected from the organisation, you have to enrol simply registering at the website. Once the request will be sent a personal account will be created. Try to find out who is the “Mentor” for your University, because this information is necessary in order to complete the enrolment process. It’s a worldwide initiative. You’re university is probably involved in this international student event.
Students can also submit papers or project proposal. It’s not mandatory, but it’s worth to know that the best works will be rewarded; travel scholarship are also provided for the top papers. If you’re thinking about fees and expenses that are requested to participate to this international student event, it’s remarkable the fact that accommodation and registration fees will be covered by the Higher Colleges of Technology of the United Arab Emirates. The only costs that the student have to cover is the transportation to and from Dubai.
