Milan International Model United Nations 2008

MILMUN is a six day conference offered to undergraduate business and economics students in Europe and throughout the world. The student conference will take place in Milan, with cooperation with Bocconi University, from 27 April until 2 May 2008. 

The event will be a perfect opportunity to the bachelor students to get to know the United Nations mechanism and functions through the simulation of its activities within the Security Council, the Economic and Social Council, the Disarmament and International Security Committee, or the UN Human Rights Council.

The students, both business students and student from economics field, will act as a diplomat from a UN country, which is not necessarily the country of the student. In this role the students will debate un actual global issues.
 
The six days student conference of MILMUN will also give a perfect opportunity to explore Milan, the business center of Italy, and one of the most important European business, trade and fashion hub. In addition to this, the event is organized in cooperation with Università Bocconi, one of the top business schools in Europe (and well known MBA center around the world). Hence, this student event is particularly recommended to students from business courses.
