Vimun  (Vienna International Model United Nations) is a simulation of the UN conference dedicated to students all over the world. The conference is organized by the United Nations Youth and Student Association of Austria - Academic Forum for Foreign Affairs and will take place from fifth to ninth august 2007 in Vienna.

The first edition was held two yeas ago and it was a great success. Over two thousand and five hundred students participated from all over the world for the five days conference.  It was an excellent opportunity for students to get to know the UN mechanism and procedures and get cross cultural skills by interacting with people from other nations.

Apart from this obvious positive side, we should not forget about the skills that one can learn during such a conference: interaction, communication, presentation, teamwork and so on. Skills that a potential business leader must have.  Furthermore, consider the added value for your curriculum. It is something that makes a different when you are applying for business jobs where thousands of people apply, with quite the same resumes. This conference would have be interpreted as a plus from your character, who is interested in new things, can adapt, can interact with overseas nations, and have intercultural flexibility.

Applications are going to be accepted on a first come first serve basis, so you should hurry with your application. In any case, the application deadline is 1 July 2007.
